ABOUT US
The «COD» search team (Echipa COD) is a specialized volunteer unit created on the basis of the non-governmental organization A.O. «Regulile Vieții» in Moldova, founded in 2014.
We specialize in searching for missing people, the safety of minors and preventing their victimization. Our team brings together professional instructors with many years of experience in training special units, tactical medicine and the psychology of extreme situations, as well as trained volunteers.
Our mission
We don't just search — we create a safe environment. Our goal is to bring people home and minimize the risk of tragedies recurring by educating civil society, implementing clear action algorithms in crisis situations and developing a culture of personal safety.
Areas of activity
Operational search: Field search-and-rescue operations in urban and rough terrain.
International «Green» division: Coordinating and running search protocols for citizens stranded or missing outside the Republic of Moldova.
Prevention and training: Running practical seminars on child safety and personal-safety courses for women.
Volunteer training: Professional training of volunteers in orienteering, radio communication, first aid and the psychology of working in emergency zones.
HOW TO SUPPORT US
The «COD» search team does not accept cash from the relatives of missing people — all search-and-rescue operations are carried out by volunteers free of charge. Nevertheless, to fund call-outs and operate effectively, the team constantly needs material and technical support.
